# Custom Objects

TradeQloud Setup is the **control layer** for the whole TradeQloud suite — it licenses each app, decides which transactions are processed, defines the reusable cost strategies the other apps rely on, and provides end-to-end Supply/Demand Order traceability. This section is the technical reference for every TradeQloud Setup object; each object name links straight to its reference.

## How TradeQloud Setup is organised

### Licensing & feature control

The [TradeQloud Setup](/tradeqloud-setup/administrators-guide/custom-objects/custom-records.md#tradeqloud-setup) record is the central control panel: it records which TradeQloud apps are licensed (Setup, Qloud Margin Control, and the rest), the licence expiry dates, and the per-account feature toggles that switch capabilities on and off.

### Transaction configuration

[TradeQloud Transaction Configuration](/tradeqloud-setup/administrators-guide/custom-objects/custom-records.md#tradeqloud-transaction-configuration) records decide, per transaction type, which processing is enabled — Sales Cost, Landed Cost, Supply Order and Demand Order. The [Transaction Type](/tradeqloud-setup/administrators-guide/custom-objects/custom-records.md#fq-transaction-type) record classifies transactions that TradeQloud creates automatically.

### Cost strategies (shared with Qloud Margin Control)

Reusable method records define *how* costs behave and are referenced by QMC budgets:
